Born and raised in the industry of reprographics, George began working part-time at Tri-State Reprographics at age 13. His grandfather, Jacob, founded the business in 1942 and incorporated in 1947. His son and George's father, Robert Marshall.

George has been at Tri-State full-time since 1979 when he began in the bookkeeping department. Over the years, he worked his way up through many positions, all the while implementing new developments and services and receiving hands-on management training. He has been President of Tri-State Reprographics since 1992.
